The Baushi Royal Foundation is actively involved in many activities. Its primary responsibility is managing the iChabuka Ne Sandulula Traditional Ceremony. The event takes place every year on the 30th October through 1st November at Chabuka Arena and Isandulula Arena.
The other activities are embodied in a blue-print plan presented by its Chairman, Mr. Mushinge Mumena.
This plan is called the Luapula Province Strategic Development Platform (2025- 2035).
The plan outlines the core areas which the Baushi Royal Foundation will, in the ten years, focus its attention through its Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
The vision of the strategic plan is to transform Luapula Province, through the Foundation, into a leading regional economic hub by 2035, sustainably leveraging its rich minerals, water resources, land, fisheries, forests, and cultural heritage to drive inclusive prosperity and intergenerational wealth.
The Foundation envisages to mobilise an investment target of US Dollars Six to Seven billion by 2035.
