The Bushi Royal Foundation aims to organize and manage the iChabuka Ne Sandulula Traditional Ceremony of the Ushi People of Luapula Province.
We also manage and promote the historical, cultural, and material culture associated with the Chabuka Ne Sandulula Traditional Ceremony by using various platforms such as conferences, festivals, eco-tourism, museums, social media and so on.
Other activities of the institution include initiating fundraising and business ventures to finance the activities of the Foundation and improve the livelihoods of the communities in the Baushi Kingdom through development projects and initiatives.
The Baushi Royal Foundation was established at a meeting held in Samfya, Chita Lodge, in November 2023. At that meeting, the Baushi Chiefs established the values and principles of what was to become, the following year, the Baushi Royal Foundation.
